The Initial Design

This was the very first rough idea drawing.

 

The second drawing - 'Erics' identity starts to develop.

 

I thought 'Eric' was about there.............. But I forgot about the technical stuff!

 

An electric guitars not much use without pickups and a bridge, so 'Eric' needed reworking to make room for the hardware without losing to much detail.

 

Pasting and photocopied sections of the original 'Eric' were used to find the best layout.

 

When the layout was settled, 'Eric' was drawn out in pencil for the last time in full (The full-size 'Eric' image can be seen on the 'Pencil' page). Click on image above to see larger image.
