'Guardian' Guitar The ' Guardian' Guitar' was the first really special guitar I ever painted. It was designed to incorporate extremely detailed guitar artwork with one off hand built quality and the best in hardware and electronics. First designed in 2002 purely as an experiment (and incidentally, well prior to the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' films!), it took almost seven years, on and off, to complete. The pictures below show the guitar after the first fitting of all the parts. There were at this stage still minor adjustments to be made, but visually, it hasn't changed much from how it looks in these pictures. While this guitar does play perfectly well and sounds excellent too, this is definitely more a piece of guitar 'artwork', than a practical guitar!
